At POSSIBLE, London, my UX designer and I were responsible for redesigning the online booking system for the Specsavers global website. We needed to improve the user experience, ensuring the user completed the booking and and arrived sufficiently prepared for their eye test. Previously there was a large drop off rate, resulting in people rather calling in to book, this was partly because there was lack of clarity around the different types of appointments and because of a long and over complex ux.
We did a lot of customer research, user testing and used the analytics to determine the biggest drop off points and factors. Designing using this data, we created a very intuitive and efficient booking system. I also working closely with the development team understanding the limitations of the backend and making sure the designs were accurately brought to life.
