At POSSIBLE, London, my UX designer and I were responsible for redesigning the online booking system for the Specsavers global website. We needed to improve the user experience, ensuring the user completed the booking and arrived sufficiently prepared for their eye test. Previously there was a large drop off rate, resulting in people rather calling in to book, because there was lack of clarity around the different types of appointments and overcomplex ux.
We did a lot of customer research, user testing and used the analytics to determine the biggest drop off points and factors. Using this data we designed a intuitive and efficient booking system. I also working closely with the development team to understand the limitations of the backend and ensure the designs were accurately brought to life.
